Job Description

As a Backend Integration Engineer at Infoedge, you will:

• Design and implement integration solutions that connect various backend systems, services, and applications.
• Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate communication between different systems.
• Ensure efficient data transfer, transformation, and storage across integrated systems.
• Implement security best practices in integration processes, including securing APIs, data encryption, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, front-end engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs, and system architecture.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve integration processes and practices.

Required Skills

• 0-3 years of experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, MySQL, Docker, and containers.
• Strong understanding of security protocols like OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and data encryption techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High sense of ownership and responsibility towards project deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Skills

• Experience with third-party services, APIs, or system integration projects.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
