Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain data security measures to safeguard company assets and sensitive information.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
- Participate in creating and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security requirements into systems and processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and trends.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of security tools and technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
