Responsibility

• Define architecture, develop, maintain, and administer the product build environment to meet business needs, adhering to relevant build frameworks and recommendations.
• Plan and analyze changes in the build environment to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Work collaboratively in a hybrid set-up, engaging with a multi-geography team to achieve shared goals.

• Linux: Experienced
• Shell scripting: Experienced
• Python scripting: Experienced
• Jenkins: Experienced
• Git/Gerrit: Experienced
• Docker: Fundamental
• Kubernetes: Fundamental
• IP network skills: Fundamental

Added Advantages to have:

• Prior experience in maintaining and troubleshooting software delivery staging & release pipelines in a cloud-native development environment.
• Prior experience of working in DevOps set-up.

Typical work expectations

• Troubleshoot and navigate in the build and test environment.
• Support developers via SED Helpdesk and Question channel.
• Self-driven, must be able to see what’s important to act upon, cannot always expect tasks from someone else.
• High quality awareness, production environment must always work, changes must always be carefully verified/secured.
• Problem solver mindset.
• Collaborate with central functions/organizations like GIC, SAN etc.
• Participate in environment transformation/migration assignments.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements

• B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)/B Tech. (Bachelor of Technologies)/M Tech preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or Masters in Computer Application (MCA).
• Reading/Writing/Listening proficiency in English Language.
• Hands-on Experience in Software Engineering Technologies.
