Job Summary:
The Associate Analyst within the RMS team will develop subject matter expertise on RMS/independence issues and serve as the primary contact for customer teams. Responsibilities include interpreting RMS policies, analyzing issues, and producing deliverables documenting the diligence of tasks performed. Interactions will be at the executive level with client team members and RMS personnel.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Facilitate and drive the completion process by following up on requests from RMS Consultants and assisting client teams.
- Understand key requirements of firm and regulators’ RMS rules and policies.
- Perform initial review of submissions from client teams and evaluate completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of proposed transactions/requests.
- Act as a liaison between client teams, other members of the RMS team, and various functional areas within the firm.
- Formulate answers to client questions and manage tasks and activities in a timely manner.
- Use analytical and project management methodology and tools and build a network of contacts within RMS and across the firm.
- Apply judgment to initial consultations and/or submission reviews and rapidly develop understanding of key requirements of firm and regulator’s RMS rules and policies.
- Provide feedback required to continuously improve processes.

- Good analytical thinking and ability to make decisions.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
