Job Description
As a Trainee at Baker Hughes, you will contribute to daily plant operations and support production activities. You will gain hands-on experience assembling and testing cutting-edge products for the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test control valves and accessories.
- Perform pre-job duties, machine inspection, and tester condition checks as per checklist.
- Maintain workstation, records, and necessary communications.
- Record hours worked for the assigned manufacturing activities.
- Prepare control valves and sub-assembly parts for shipment.
- Adhere to shift policies, lunch breaks, and PPE usage in line with shop floor policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions/procedures.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Basic awareness of 5S and Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to report safety, quality, and route issues to supervisors.
- Adherence to Baker Hughes HSE policies and legal compliance.
